Contra Costa County is seeking community feedback to improve emergency alerts and preparedness communications and would appreciate your help to promote the survey through your communication channels. Survey results will help inform future enhancements to the Community Warning System (CWS), public alerting strategies, preparedness educations, and outreach efforts. What is CCCVOAD?
Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) is a network that unites agencies wanting to help during emergencies but are not part of the formal response system. We focus on improving disaster response through coordination, communication, collaboration, and cooperation among our members.
Our Membership
Recognizing that all sectors of society must work together to foster more resilient, self-reliant communities nationwide, we partner with community-based organizations, government agencies, for-profit corporations, and faith-based organizations.
